As part of our succession planning process, we wish to employ a Technical Sales Representative Trainee. Initially, this role will be based at our Te Pirita genetic nucleus unit, located 45 minutes from Christchurch, where the trainee will gain practical experience and technical knowledge. This will include learning about our pig breeding programme and its objectives, efficient pig production, selection of quality breeding stock, semen production and genetic improvement. After a period of training, the trainee will progress towards a fulltime Technical Sales role. We would like to hear from you if you:</p> <ul> <li>Have some selling experience or are keen to develop a career in a technical sales role</li> <li>Have experience plus a real interest in livestock production</li> <li>Are committed to increasing your skills and experience in the pig industry</li> <li>Enjoy working in the rural sector</li> <li>Have good people skills and a passion for customer service</li> <li>Computer skills (Excel and Word) </li> </ul> <p>We offer a competitive salary package plus bonus for the right person.
